Albert Square and nine city centre sites
A market by the lake, a chocolate tree in the station and a singing tree in between.
Checked against the organiser in October 2026. The official site is the authoritative source.
Zurich has four markets within a fifteen minute walk: Bellevue Noël by the lake, new in 2026 with a walkable Advent wreath; Polarzauber in the main station hall, Switzerland's largest indoor market, with the Lindt tree; the Singing Christmas Tree at Werdmühleplatz with choir concerts every evening; and the Old Town market in the Niederdorf lanes.
The local specialty: Raclette and fondue, and the Lindt chocolate tree in the station hall.
One hour with your host and a small tasting of the local specialty, from CHF 69 per person. Company evenings run two hours with tastings and a table to finish. How the hour works
Your host meets you at Bellevue, walks you through the lakeside market with a Glühwein, across the river into the Niederdorf lanes and their market, up to the Lindenhof for the view, down Bahnhofstrasse to the Singing Christmas Tree, and ends in the station hall at the Lindt tree, with raclette or fondue on the way and the story of how Zurich does Advent.
Your host is a Zurich local from the LocalBini network who knows the city's markets and the lanes between them.
Within a day you hear back with the host, the meeting point and the price for your group.
