Albert Square and nine city centre sites
The Christkind opens it, the Lebkuchen defines it.
Checked against the organiser in October 2026. The official site is the authoritative source.
Nuremberg's Christkindlesmarkt is the one most people picture when they think of a German Christmas market: red and white striped stalls on the Hauptmarkt, the Christkind on the church balcony, Lebkuchen and Rostbratwurst. The Old Town around it, from the castle to the river, is one of the best preserved in Germany.
The local specialty: Nürnberger Elisenlebkuchen, the gingerbread the city is famous for.
One hour with your host and a small tasting of the local specialty, from EUR 69 per person. Company evenings run two hours with tastings and a table to finish. How the hour works
Your host meets you on the Hauptmarkt, explains the Christkind tradition and the Lebkuchen trade, then walks you up to the castle for the view and down through the Old Town to the Pegnitz, with Drei im Weggla and a Glühwein from the regional stands on the way.
Your host is a Nuremberg local from the LocalBini network who knows the Christkindlesmarkt, its traditions and the Old Town around it.
Within a day you hear back with the host, the meeting point and the price for your group.
