Albert Square and nine city centre sites
A sound and light show on the Grand-Place and two kilometres of chalets.
Checked against the organiser in October 2026. The official site is the authoritative source.
Winter Wonders is a city-wide event rather than a single market: the Grand-Place has the tree and the sound and light show, the chalets run from the Bourse along Sainte-Catherine to the old fish market, and De Brouckère has the big wheel. 2026 is the 25th edition and adds two new squares.
The local specialty: Artisan chocolate from the city's chocolatiers, a few of them on the route.
One hour with your host and a small tasting of the local specialty, from EUR 69 per person. Company evenings run two hours with tastings and a table to finish. How the hour works
Your host meets you on the Grand-Place for the light show, walks you through the Galeries and the chocolatiers' quarter, then along the full chalet route to Sainte-Catherine and the Vismet, with oysters or waffles on the way and a Belgian Christmas beer to finish.
Your host is a Brussels local from the LocalBini network who knows the Winter Wonders route and the chocolatiers along it.
Within a day you hear back with the host, the meeting point and the price for your group.
