Albert Square and nine city centre sites
Half-timbered houses, canals and six markets in one Old Town.
Checked against the organiser in October 2026. The official site is the authoritative source.
Colmar at Christmas looks like the postcard, and the six markets are spread through the Old Town so a walk between them is the point. Place des Dominicains is the main one, the Koïfhus holds the artisans, Place Jeanne d'Arc is where the Alsatian producers sell bredele, foie gras and wine, and Petite Venise is for families.
The local specialty: Bredele, the small Alsatian Christmas biscuits, and Kougelhopf.
One hour with your host and a small tasting of the local specialty, from EUR 69 per person. Company evenings run two hours with tastings and a table to finish. How the hour works
Your host walks you from the Dominicains market through the Old Town to the Koïfhus and the Ancienne Douane, with a vin chaud and a bredele tasting from a producer, then along the canals to Petite Venise as the lights come on. The walk includes the stories of the houses, the wine trade and the Alsatian Christmas table.
Your host is a local from Colmar or the surrounding Alsace, from the LocalBini network, who knows the six markets and the Alsatian Christmas table.
Within a day you hear back with the host, the meeting point and the price for your group.
