Ten sites, two hundred stalls and the earliest opening in Europe.
Checked against the organiser in October 2026. The official site is the authoritative source.
Manchester's markets are the earliest in Europe to open, in the first week of November, and spread over ten sites from the Town Hall on Albert Square to the Cathedral Gardens with its rink and wheel. More than two hundred stalls, a parade in early December and the city's own collectable mug, redesigned every year. Manchester is also where LocalBini hosts combine the markets with the city's music and industrial history.
The local specialty: Mulled cider and the Manchester Christmas mug, a new design every year.
One hour with your host and a small tasting of the local specialty, from EUR 69 per person. Company evenings run two hours with tastings and a table to finish. How the hour works
Your host meets you on Albert Square, walks you through the Town Hall market with a mulled cider in the Manchester mug, down King Street and St Ann's Square to Exchange Square and the Corn Exchange, and ends at Cathedral Gardens by the rink, with the stories of the Victorian city, the music scene and how Manchester does Christmas.
Your host is a Manchester local from the LocalBini network who knows the market sites and the city centre around them.
Within a day you hear back with the host, the meeting point and the price for your group.
